New to J&D Wholesale Flowers? Start Here.

Who We Work With
J&D Wholesale is built for florists and event designers, but we also welcome the public. We believe
high-quality flowers aren’t just for the industry—they’re for everyone.

Do I Need a Business License?
We offer special industry pricing for professionals with a valid business license. To get started,
simply complete our New Client Application or contact us through our inquiry form to set up your account.

I don’t have a business license. Can I still shop with you?
Absolutely! We believe everyone should have access to high-quality flowers. The public is always
welcome to shop with us, and we’re happy to help guide you through the process and answer any
questions along the way.

Setting Up an Account
Getting started is simple. Submit our New Client Application (link) or contact our team, and once you’re
verified, you’ll have full access to our inventory and wholesale pricing.

What Else Do You Offer?
Because we’re housed within a working retail florist, we’re able to offer more than just fresh flowers.
In addition to wholesale blooms, we carry a curated selection of hardgoods and supplies, along with rental
items to support your events and designs. We also offer full-service wholesale—a hands-on option
where our team helps you build recipes, pull your order, and streamline the process for a small fee.
Whether you want to shop and design on your own or need a little extra support, we’re set up to meet you
where you are.

Ordering Process

How Do I Place a Wholesale Order?
Orders can be placed via email, by phone, in person, or by our convenient online order form. New to wholesale? No problem. We’ll walk you through the process!

Do I Have to Pre-Order Everything?
Yes, and no. Our shoppable cooler is stocked daily with a rotating selection of fresh flowers and arrangements that are ready to grab and go. However, if you’re looking for specialty blooms, harder-to-source varieties, or larger quantities, we highly recommend pre-ordering. Ordering ahead ensures we can source exactly what you need and have it ready when you need it.

Lead Time
For special events and holidays, we recommend ordering at least two weeks in advance for the best
selection. For everyday floral needs, same-day or next-day ordering is available depending on stock.

Minimum Orders
We generally don’t require minimums, unless it’s for our wet truck delivery service.

Getting Your Orders

Do You Deliver?
Yes. We deliver throughout Northern California with multiple temperature-controlled (wet) trucks running on
regular routes each week. Our goal is to make getting fresh, properly handled flowers as easy and reliable as
possible for you.

Areas we currently service include:
● Sacramento
● Davis
● Woodland
● Roseville
● Rocklin
● Folsom
● El Dorado Hills
● Orland

● Lincoln
● Elk Grove
● Vacaville
● Fairfield
● Placerville
● Lodi
● Chico
● Yuba City

If you’re outside of these areas, reach out. We’re always happy to check if we can accommodate your location
or coordinate a solution.

For route days, delivery minimums, and scheduling, give us a call at (530) 747-2300 and we’ll walk you
through it.

When Can I Pick Up My Order?
We’re open seven days a week for both order pickup and shopping directly from our cooler.
During major holidays, we often extend our hours to better accommodate increased demand. Feel free to
check in with us for the most up-to-date schedule.

What If My Flowers Are Damaged?
Quality is always our priority, but with a natural, perishable product, occasional issues can happen. If your flowers arrive in less-than-ideal condition, please send us a photo within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. From there, our team will review and work with you to make it right, whether that means a credit, replacement,
or another appropriate solution. We’re here to make sure you feel confident in what you’re receiving, every time.

Adjustments at Pickup
We source your flowers fresh and with care, especially for special requests. Because these orders are
made just for you, last-minute substitutions at pickup aren’t possible, but we’re always happy to help you
plan ahead to get exactly what you need.

You are, however, always welcome to add to your order when you pick up.

Paying For Your Orders

Payment Options
We accept cash, major credit cards (with a 3% fee), business checks, ACH transfers, PayPal, Zelle and
Venmo. Established clients may also qualify for payment terms.

Sales Tax
Wholesale buyers with a valid California resale license are not charged sales tax. Non-profits such as
churches may also qualify for tax exemption. All other customers, including public or non-industry buyers,
are required to pay sales tax.

How Are Prices Determined?
Wholesale flower pricing isn’t fixed. It shifts with seasonality, availability, and overall market demand.
Certain varieties may be more abundant (and more affordable) at different times of year, while others can
fluctuate based on weather, holidays, and global supply.

We work closely with our growers and suppliers to source the best product at the best possible price, and
we’re always keeping an eye on the market so you don’t have to. That means transparent, competitive
pricing and real-time updates on what’s looking especially good each week.

If you’re flexible, we’re happy to guide you toward in-season options that give you the most value without
compromising on quality or design.

Flowers & Availability

How are our flowers sourced?
J & D Wholesale connects you to flowers from around the world, with a focus on California-grown blooms.
We’ve worked hard over the past 30+ years to develop direct relationships with growers and our truck
visits the flower farms weekly for the freshest blooms available.

Can I Special Order flowers you may not normally have?
Absolutely! We work with growers and suppliers worldwide. If you’re after something special, let us know, and we’ll do our best to source it.

Standing Orders & Recurring Deliveries
Yes! Many clients set up standing orders so they always have fresh flowers on hand. Ask us about creating a custom recurring plan that works for you.

What Can I Expect regarding replacements and substitutions?
Flowers are living, natural products, and their availability is influenced by season, weather, and market conditions. Because of this, we can’t offer absolute guarantees on every item. If a specific flower isn’t available, we’ll use our expertise to select the closest possible substitute that meets your order’s style and quality.

Colors and varieties can also vary slightly, as flowers naturally differ from batch to batch.

To give us the best chance of sourcing exactly what you want, we recommend placing orders at least two weeks in advance. This lead time helps us secure the freshest, highest-quality blooms for your arrangements.
